Open water tank

This arrived with no possibilities of retaining water, as it stood. There were just empty holes where fittings could be fitted, at extra cost and trouble, but no caps of any kind to stop the water getting out!
This was very disappointing as there was no possibility of testing it’s water tightness without going to the expense of buying expensive fittings, which all seems very strange to me.

Sorry to hear of your disappointment at no fittings being included!

We're a bit disappointed you didn't ask about fittings when we sent you a photo of the tank in the orientation you were asking about, as it clearly showed there was no fittings in the image..

Being a universal tank that suits either grey or fresh water, there are an almost unlimited amount of ways to configure your tank based on the purpose you're using it for and of course the many, many types of hose sizes and types you'd want the fittings to suit.

In the caravan industry, every van is very unique in the way that it's plumbed, that's why tanks are supplied without fittings in most cases, as you're better off not paying for a set of fittings that will more than likely not suit you.

Hopefully that gives a bit more clarity as to why tanks in our industry are supplied without fittings included.
