    The Dometic Dust Reduction System (DRS) is a rooftop ventilation unit which minimises the amount of dust, pollen and other airborne particles entering your Caravan.

    This non-powered unit works while you are driving by allowing filtered, clean air to enter and pressurise the vehicle which reduces additional dust from entering the RV.

    A dust reduction system (DRS) for caravans and campers is designed to be installed on the roof of the vehicle, generally on the forward area of the roof to ensure it captures clean air while driving. 
    Here is where and how a roof-mounted dust reduction system is placed:
    Optimal Placement Location
    • Front Section: The unit should be mounted toward the front of the caravan to ensure unobstructed, clean airflow, avoiding turbulent air from the back.
    • Optimal Area: It is commonly installed in a forward position, sometimes directly replacing an existing skylight or hatch.
    • Clearance: It should be installed in a location with no large obstructions immediately in front of it (such as air conditioners, existing hatches, or antennas) to ensure maximum airflow.

    With a sleek modern design the DRS can be fitted into a range of rooftop openings - from 285 x 285mm to 400 x 400mm
